What's your favorite movie(s)?

I honestly haven't any idea. The Butterfly Effect is up there, along with a few more epic releases (Lord of the Rings is an obvious one, Star Wars...)

There are plenty of comedies I love but they wouldn't make it to my favorites because I consider a favorite to be an escape from reality, not a mockery of it.

Her Excellency The Pink Bunny

I like movies that make me think. Not those "made to make a billion" crap.
My top favorites at this moment are:
American Beauty
Mirrormask

I'll name more later, my head hurts and I can't think.

MincyMatsu

^I've noticed that both Micki and you have The Blues Brothers on your list.
I assume you're talking about the original? O.o IMO, absolutely nothing can top the original. Everytime I watch it, I nearly laugh myself unconscious. Especially when they drive through that shopping mall. That was great. Loved that movie.  :Ecool:

He's been gone a while, but R.I.P. John Belushi. T_T

Don't see why not. Go for it, Micki! Mentioning some titles won't hurt. Unless it gets into a big discussion about anime movies. ^^;; But then, we can always make a new thread in the anime section if needed.

Soske

Clerks
Die Hard
Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust
Evil Dead (all of them)
Fight Club

Yeah, refering to the original... 2000 may have some good music, but i didn't like the acting... and the humor was too over-the-top... nothing like the original...

first movie was awesome... one of my favorite car chases in it too... that major police-car crash was awesome :D

Too bad John died... he was really fun...
It's scary how much his brother Jim Belushi reminds me of him though... they act pretty similar

Dang, now i can't think of so many atm...

The Lion King is one of them though... i don't have it, but i remember it, and the music in it was some of my favorite cartoon music...
Timon and Pumbaa were awesome too :D

There are alot more, but i have to think hard about it... it's a bit messed up in my head  :o

Oh yes...

Predator and Terminator 2 were great...
I wasn't such a big fan of the first Terminator for some odd reason...

James Cameron films are usually likable for me, so no wonder i like T2 better...
And Aliens for that sake...
