The least-anticipated revival since Fuller House is finally here! Against all odds, the Excel
Saga Forum is back with its original domain name intact. Read the announcement thread for
more details, or check out the Resources section for help finding copies of both the manga and
anime. And don't forget to join our newfangled Discord if that's the kind of thing you're into!

Uncreativity

I think the drama was really out of place and badly done. It's okay for Excel to have her little bit of drama at the end of the series, 'cause she's the main character, but it doesn't really work with anybody else.

Randamo

i thought the excel drama at the end was weird.
i mean, the part where she kept banging on the door with blood coming off her hands was actually pretty well done and the shooting her bit, but when her voice got softer and she kept being all melancholy was out of character and sort of akward

skycloud

you mean when she lost her memory? Isnt that kinda natural for people when they lose there memory?

HA1L ILPALLAZZO

well my fave episodes were 1-7,13-16, 18 and 23-25

my least fave the 2 Menchi ones(episode 10), the Pedro recap(episode 20) and the last episode (well it's mostly the ending with Pedro

ElricJC

3 was likely my favorite, but the sewer crawling one was a close second (was that 7?)

Least?  Both Menchi episodes, and the Pedro recap - complete waste matter.

"In the beginning the Universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move

I actually liked the second Menchi episode.  The first one was terribly unfunny, though.

you know the dog named "Wolf" for the english version was the same person that did Edward Elric for Fullmetal Alchemist? (sorry to get a bit off topic)

Randamo

yeah she had amnesia but dont you think a person's general personality would remain the same?
the real excel in the anime wouldn't get so depressed...manga excel would.

But unlike most of the other characters, Excel actually acted like Excel in the anime.  My opinion, anyway.

Randamo

i thought she was the one that acted the least like the manga version.

Foggle

I'd say that would be Il Palazzo, actually.

actually Excel acted originally more or less as she did in the manga when she first lost her memory, but as she started to remember things she started to revert back to her normal personality. (You can tell her voice completely reverts back to her old crazy tone when she remembered her own name)

The more she forgets the more normal she acts.

yeah, a person does get emotional when they get amnesia, but i just didn't like how soft and emotional her voice got when compared to normal voice excel.

skycloud

for the english version, it was fairly good
