i have to say there is only one problem: i have to read off a computer screen to read the story, i'd much rather get the books, but what can you do? gotta be grateful those people who can understand japanese deciphered the books for us.

hey, i noticed the rating on the dvd is MA15+ restricted and combined with the black and red colouring, i started to get the idea it's a high rating show. why? as far as i can tell it's not that bad. however, they did rate azumanga daoih as MA15+ and i still can't figure out why. must be the swearing in it.they swear more in summer heights high and rate it only M.
but what makes haruhi so bad?

Well also has a murder mystery with a person getting stabbed. I guess that could count. Maybe also the ideas expressed, like how Haruhi is God and all that. Saying that could make little kids who dont know any better actually believe it because they are not yet at the age to understand it.

hmm, its a tizzy thing.
i should actually watch the show and look at the rating more closely. i mean, they dont sell the dvds at the store and i'd have to get it delivered to actually see. ah, well

yeah, i checked and it says strong sexual themes.
i mean, there's no nudity and as far as i know, its only the skimpy outfits mikaru has to wear and well, the video. check the video there. its above this.

Well it also talks a lot about the concept of God etc. That can be impressionable on young kids

over the show, book, whatever.

my favourite character is yuki - she's so cool. Kyon's a close second place. Haruhi's not actually my favourite character - way down the list. she beats mikuru-chan, though.
