Well, it's this year...

I'll be going to the New York Anime Festival, Dec. 7th - 9th. at the Jacob Javits Center.  www.nyanimefestival.com

It will be my first anime con, having been only to comic cons and one manga con.

I'm going to Nebraskcon!
<3 <3 <3

I'm gonna make a lolita outfit for one day and put together a decora outfit for the last day.

I'm going the 18th and 19th this month.

....

OMG!!!

I have to get sewing!

Heh. That brings back memories. I actually helped run the original Nebraskon! I can't afford to go back for it (I've moved to Oregon since then), but be sure to stop by the dealer's room - my roommate is selling my art and there'll be Excel Saga stuff.  :ehail:

I'm thinking of going to the Anime Festival as Nabeshin, because it would be easy enough to put together.

I already have an afro wig, light blue jeans, a red suit jacket, and blue shirt.  All I would need is the yellow tie.

I'll more than likely be going to Sakuracon again next year, especially if my online friends are going too.

If I were to decide to cosplay next year, it would probably be as Nozomu Itoshiki from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.
All these college professors teaching classes about Shakespeare, who was the 16th-century equivalent of a director of summer-blockbusters, makes me wonder if 500 years from now we'll have college courses on the subtle nuances of Michael Bay movies.

I love the Hyatt died for your sins (Repeatedly) one!

There was a 4chan panel! It was so funny!

Oh and in the dealers room I made a guy almost cry by asking if a bear looking thing was Pedobear and if he knew what a mudkip was.  It was so funny!

I have pictures!
But they aren't uploaded yet.

There was a prefect Pyramid head! He was scary and had a sign that said free hugs.
Then at the dance he had glow sticks all over his head piece!

The 4chan panel was the best. The guy in charge asked what we should discuss first and everyone was yelling: "Mudkips! Cats! Habbo! Diabetus! An Hero! Speedy Cat!" And so much more!
Two girls had perma b& hammers and one was wearing a shirt that said Moot. But I forgot to take pictures of them!

And there was a shounen ai panel but he was full of screaming fan girls and was mostly chaotic.  The weird part is that the 4chan panel had some order to it!

I did not go to last weekend's Animé Festival in NYC, because I spent all my money on animé.

Namely, all four limited edition Haruhi Suzumiya DVDs...

Next one I'll go to is the AniméNext, in the summer, I think..?
