It seems Mr Carl Horn will be at a convention in San Jose this memorial day weekend. That'd be cool to meet him. The only problem is... I can only go that Monday and I'm not sure if he'll be there at that time...?

Anime North: This is always held during the long Victoria Day weekend. I think it's been two years now since I first went there. Had a lot of fun and really want to go back again sometime. Located in Toronto, Ontario Canada at the Toronto Congress Center and directly across the street at the Doubletree Hotel. This is a HUGE con! O_O

:elcry: And... well, I'm pulling the rope on myself for not going to Anime North this year.... :excel_fall:

One of my friends from my History lectures has managed to get a chance to go to the expo in London.  I told him to get as much stuff as viably possible...including pictures.

El Tigre and I just got back from Anime Expo 2008. I had a freakin incredible time.

I didn't take many photos, but here they are...

Saw one Excel there...

We also met Uncreativity of this forum and she gave us each a copy of a comic she and her friend created, which is pretty awesome. She said it'll be online eventually, so you'll all end up seeing it sometime.

(By the way, UC, sorry we didn't do anything on Saturday - we ended up being in line for Masquerade tickets for most of the day when we would have done something).

Urgh lucky sod.  My chances of going to a con are few and far-between at the moment.  But as soon as a chance arrises i am jumping on it, although my wallet will probably not be so eager.

Yep, It cost quite a bit. We drove 700 miles total. We stayed in a hotal room with a total of 7-9 people in it so it was a lot cheaper though. :il_hahaha:

Luckily i won't have the 700 miles problem, seeing as Britain is not that big-a-place, and the fact i live in the Midlands means an almost equal distance to most parts of the country.
