My shelf is starting to look like that....except minus the keychains.  Hard to find places to put new manga now  :elcry:

I just bought Azumanga Daioh Omnibus. It's like a phone book

i've seen it. it's got colour!(what a boring statement)

yesterday i got flowers and bees 6 and kedamono demano 3, and read it on the train, which was risky, because they are a but full on, unexpectantly so. a bit too much this time.

I walked around a bit reading the omnibus at the little mall here. I must of looked like I was reading a phone book backwards. I'm trying to get my sister to read it.

i always love confusing people whith the way i read it backwards. it just looks so intriguing.
the omnibus has the entire collection right? cause it was about $30 at the store I went to, which is the same as buying 2 books[cheap!]
oh, i found a great bookstore in sydney, called kuniyo kunikada or something which is the largest bookstore in the southern hemisphere, there is a huge wall of manga, and very cheap for me too. im just happy cause they get new manga when it comes out. other bookstores take months or years, or never to get new releases. im sure most borders bookstore havent got e.s 17 in yet.

No matter where you go...

No matter where you tread...

No matter if it is in the U.S., Australia, or anywhere else...

Borders will always suck :D.

I just picked up Berserk 23, and working on filling holes in my earlier copies.  I need to amend my previous list since it grew.

I got the omnibus for $20.
I snatched it off the shelf like a paranoid shop lifter.

I think most people who read manga and see a good deal tend to grab it rather energetically.  I know, i have done it a few times myself.

not me I'm picky and prefer to be at the stage where I'm preordering rather then buying in large clumps

Kinokuniya? Great place to get Japanese manga, and try their sites if you don't live near one (like me ;_;). I ordered both volumes of Higurashi: Tatarigoroshi-hen from there, as well as Soul Eater (1-2) and Seto no Hanayome (1-2), all in Japanese of course ;D.
Ebay can be a good place too lol. Got Busou Renkin 1-9 (Japanese) for 9 dollars, and 9 shipping. Can't beat that!

i look forward to haruhi suzumiya, this is what amazon says:

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya by Nagaru Tanigawa, Noizi Ito, and Gaku Tsugano (Paperback - Oct 28, 2008)
Buy new: 10. 99 $8.79

i am concerned it isn't the novel as it has a different picture, but i'll get it anyway.
