.hack//GU Trilogy

It was long winded and boring, with 3D animation that would make Pixar cry tears of pain.  Terrible movie.  Loved the games, though.

My library had an Anime Afternoon that lasted eight hours yesterday, so I can't even listr them all. :p

New anime we watched that I liked best were Hyper Police and Fate/Stay Night.

The funniest thing we saw all night, though, was .hack//GIFT, an episode from the Extras menus of one of the .hack discs.

I just finshed "Paniponi Dash!". It kind of reminds me of "Azumanga Daioh".

Finshed the Kyo Kara Maoh OVA and started the 3rd season. Also been watching Simoun. It's really good  :elhail: and I finally finished Kashimashi ~girl meets girl~

Watched the latter half of UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie season 1 and the first two episodes of season 2.  When I saw the first few episodes of season 1, I didn't care for it at all.  Then I threw on episode 7, and realized how completely ridiculous everything about it was.  It has its moments, and seems to not take itself too seriously.  It is also loaded with fan-service.

Neither great, nor terrible.  A series that I won't mind watching once, but I would't buy it.

Last DVD of School Rumble (Last episode is GREAT), will watch "Paprika" this weekend.

WATCH "Elf Princess Raine"! It is a proto- "Excel Saga" Absolutely fun!

Watching "Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki" and so far it's ok, but it does seem to lack something from the direct original on which it is based, the first OVA series.

I don't mind characters evolving, but Ryoko, who was my favorite character, doesn't quite have the same bite anymore, and many of the older characters have been a little one dimensional in the first 4 episodes.  I'll reserve judgment for now, but I'm a little disappointed, though not quite Tenchi in Tokyo disappointed (*pukes*)

That higurashi one, I thought the first 4 episodes made no sense, becasue how the hell are they alive in episode 5 when rena and her mate are beaten to death by keiitic (don't ask) who in turn dies in the phone box of an overdose, bloody weird

I had the same experience. My friend told me it was good, I watched the first 4 episodes and went ".... Dude, what?" He simply said "Keep watching". Though Ironically, I've seen Kai, and he hasn't yet >_>; So the roles reversed, and I know more than he does lol
