External hard drive... yeah, I need to look into getting one, that would solve a lot of the problems.  One more piece of tech I need to pick up.

Ok, I broke down and YouTubed the rest, and managed to find some with decent resolution so I could finish the series.

Absolutely brilliant, and a good ending.

But I have so many questions still, such as with Hanyuu and some obvious, erm, physical differences that are never addressed, just felt weird, and some unresolved issues.  But it was still a great conclusion.

The third season's coming out later this year.

I thought this was pretty awesome, the town that Hinamizawa is based off of:
http://www.stage6.com/user/Okinuchun/video/1012617/Hinamizawa-Travel-guide

shows you all the places where there's similarities. Some are obvious, like the houses, others are slightly more obscure, such as the place Keiichi meets up with Rena in Onikakushi for the first time.

Then, when you're done there, watch this one. Just fastforward:

I can't wait. I wonder what will be in the third season. I hope a few of the manga stories will be in there. I really enjoyed Yoigoshi-hen and Onisrashi-hen  :e_pleased:

I didn't really care for Onisarashi-hen, I must admit. I really liked how it gave a really great view of life outside Hinamizawa, but it was too sappy for me. I still need to order Yoigoshi-hen ;_;

I'm guessing it'll be the Rei bonus disk content.

Probably which will be nice since i haven't seen any of it  :egood:

Onisarashi-hen was really sappy bt I did enjoy all the violence in it :P and Yoigoshi was pretty good too.  There's another side story about Shion at her boarding school but since it's still being released I doubt it will be animated.

So they're coming out with 4 games for the DS now~!
Each one will contain 3 older stories and one brand new one (the first containing Onisarashi-Hen, Watanagashi-Hen, Tatarigoroshi-Hen, and the new Someutsushi-Hen). The graphics will be based on the PS2 version of the game, so no crappy artwork. Also new is the mood selector, where you can pick a persons response ranging from Honest, Joke, Calm, or Enthusiastic. Think Kei-chan is a bastard? Select something different, and the story might change slightly!
Also, if you preorder it, you get a nifty syringe shaped ballpoint pen ;D
Comes out, unshockingly enough, this June (though the 26th, not the 19th, like Watanagashi)!

Where'd you find this out?  I kinda' wish it was a syringe shaped stylus, though, since I lost both of mine. >_>

That's a typo, right?  I thought it was Onikakushi. >_>

Also, since the game only has four arcs, maybe we can expect full voice acting? ;D

Ah, sou sou, it's a typo. Onikakushi, where the new arc is a spin off/continuation of Onisarashi.

And I got it from the site I linked, if you click on the game art.
It just says "Chushaki Bourupen" (????????), so I'm assuming that it's a writing utensil.
Still no info on the main site about voice acting, simply about the background music, also taken from the PS2 version.
And I played the Gurren Lagann DS game, which had some voice acting from the series, but not extensive, so that's my guess.

*Sigh*  I can believe in this...
After watching all three released disks, late last night...I had some very interesting dreams.
I'm always late to the party...:e_annoyed:
No future DVD releases in sight?  Someone's getting cursed for this. :e_angry:
Watching it on-line is just too uncomfortable...

I used to feel that way, then I got used to it, especially since it was the ONLY way to finish watching the series.  Of all the available options remaining, it's the best - I don't feel comfortable with BitTorrent, which is why Stage6 was so good for me - and now that it is dead, sigh...
